Head of the Department of Criminology (tenure-track assistant professorship in criminology).

Monika Stempkowski holds a doctorate in law, is a clinical and health psychologist, and a registered mediator. Her research focuses on the areas of the criminal justice system and the enforcement of sentences, drug-related crime, victimology, legal psychology, interrogation techniques and organised crime.

Monika Stempkowski is a member of the Independent Supervisory Commission for the Protection of the Constitution and Head of the Research Centre for Legal Psychology.
